Michigan star players react to Sherrone Moore hire: he is right man for the job…..

The Michigan Insider spoke with several Michigan football stars on Saturday afternoon about Sherrone Moore, who was introduced earlier this weekend as the program’s 21st head coach.
Moore attended the U-M men’s basketball game alongside Kenneth Grant, Mason Graham, Will Johnson, Colston Loveland, Greg Crippen, Rod Moore, Kalel Mullings, Makari Paige and Donovan Edwards. That group is expected to form the core of the 2024 Wolverines, who will face one of the nation’s toughest schedules as defending champs.
Below is what they told TMI about Sherrone Moore’s promotion to head football coach and why he was the right person for the jobColston Loveland: “The way he took control against Penn State there. He was called upon late and he took control of the game, won the game. Huge for it.”
Kenneth Grant: “He’s a players’ coach. He knows how to adapt to his players. He’s a great coach who’s smart, he’s good in the run game and the pass game. He’s just a good coach in general.”
Mason Graham: “I feel like he’s been ready for this moment. Everyone expected him to be in this position after this year if Coach Harbaugh were to leave. I think he’s the right guy for the job.”
Will Johnson: “I’m happy for him. Happy he was able to get the job. I know this is what he’s been looking forward to. I think he’s great for the job. He’s been in the program; he knows the culture and what it takes. I think it’s a great fit.”
