Hamilton, Ohio, three-star defensive lineman Trey Verdon landed a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville in late November.
The Cardinals are one of nine total offers on board for the 6-foot-2, 225-pound Verdon.
The NFL’s playoffs have reached the conference championships with the two games set for Sunday. A trio of former Louisville quarterbacks remain in the postseason, as Lamar Jackson leads Baltimore with Malik Cunningham also on the Ravens roster as a reserve. Teddy Bridgewater, who announced his retirement a few weeks ago, is a reserve quarterback for the Detroit Lions.
