Ex-Stoke City keeper signs for Airdrie amid Josh Rae concussion woe…..

Airdrie have signed former Motherwell, Stoke City and Rotherham keeper Robbie Hemfrey as cover for injured Josh Rae.
The 22-year-old comes in as a free agent, having left Rotherham at the end of last season, and is a former Scottish youth international.
Hemfrey comes in to help the goalkeeping department, with Rae undergoing concussion protocols following the 0-0 draw at Inverness on Saturday, while player-coach David Hutton is another deputy.
He goes into the squad for tomorrow’s visit by Arbroath.
The former Cathkin High pupil told Airdrie’s website: “I’m happy to be here and excited for what’s ahead.
Then the [SPFL Trust Trophy] cup final next week is a chance at a medal and a trophy. We need to look up, really.”
