The Tennessee season is mere days away and fans are about to get a taste of what the team is all about. Players will get to show themselves off and take the field too finally. One of those players is true freshman linebacker Arion Carter
. He is a 6-foot-1-inch prospect from Smyrna, Tennessee. Coming out of high school, Carter was ranked as the second-best overall player from the Volunteer State.
He has gained much traction from everyone around the college football landscape leading up to the season. Here is what he had to say about his time in the Tennessee program thus far. “Just getting in the system and learning the system…I love it here. I am really happy with my decision.” On Wednesday, Carter was also named to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award Watch List. But he will need some serious playing time for that award to come into the picture. Here is what the young linebacker had to say about opportunities he can get on the field.
