Antonio Pierce is the linebackers coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL. Born on October 26, 1978, he was awarded two Super Bowls in 2007 with the New York Giants. He is now also the interim head coach of the Raiders and was a former coach at Arizona State. The 45-year-old announced his retirement on July 8, 2010.
Pierce started his coaching career in 2014 at the national powerhouse Long Beach Polytechnic High School. On December 21, 2017, he joined Arizona State University as the linebackers coach. Soon after, he was elevated to the post of sole defensive coordinator at ASU. In 2022, Pierce was hired by the Raiders, with Josh McDaniels as the head coach.
On November 5, 2023, Antonio Pierce was promoted to be the interim head coach. His debut match as head coach was against the New York Giants. He had a phenomenal entry as the Raiders emerged victorious with a score of 30-6. Pierce is currently a resident of California and is married to Jocelyn.
