it’s not Goodbye but see You again, Joe…

The Cleveland Browns had a magical run to the playoffs this past season. A lot of the credit for this should go to veteran QB Joe Flacco. He won Comeback Player of the Year for his performance with the Browns this past season.
However, he is an unrestricted free agent this offseason and 38 years old. This has left many to question what Flacco’s future holds. Now, a recent report that has come out about Deshaun Watson could give us a better idea as to what will happen with Flacco.
An earlier report revealed that one of 26 sexual misconduct cases that Watson was involved in could reopen. That is because there were improper instructions in a previous deposition. As a result, one of Watson’s cases could come back into the limelight.
However, that is not all. If this case ends up escalating, it could result in further discipline from the NFL. Watson has already been suspended 11 games because of these cases. Now, the NFL apparently has not ruled out further discipline if this does reopen.Yesterday, Flacco revealed that he does wish to continue his NFL career in 2024. Flacco will be 39 years old next season and is open to coming back to the Browns. Considering recent developments along with what Flacco delivered for Cleveland in 2023, this could end up being a very good match. At the very least, it does give the Browns an insurance option.
