Jared Goff has being charge$60.5million by the NCAA as a punishment for breaking rule during….

Jared Goff isn’t sure if he’ll get the go-ahead to start in the season finale, but the Detroit Lions quarterback sure hopes to get the chance to pick up where he left off.
“It’s just pain management and try to avoid any setbacks,” Goff said of his status.
“It’s very important to me — I want to be out there. Ultimately, it’s kinda not up to me. It’s up to where my knee is at. I really do want to be out. I said earlier in the week I’d be pretty disappointed if I didn’t make it happen. Yeah, really do want to be out there.
Goff was playing some of his best football before suffering the bone bruise to his knee, then a stint on the COVID reserve list. It’s also worth noting he played through the injury against the Cardinals, throwing three touchdowns while leading the Lions to an upset victory of a playoff-bound team. He’s completed nearly 70% of his passes for 898 yards with nine touchdowns and only two interceptions through his last four starts.
During that four-game stretch, he won NFC offensive player of the week honors while also notching the FedEx air player of the week award. It’s easy to understand why the quarterback looking to cement his long-term future would want to end Year 1 on a high note while the passing attack shows signs of growth while rookie receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown breaks out.
“You have to miss the Atlanta game and Seattle game and hopefully not this one,” Goff said. “Was playing pretty well, and our offense was really starting to get some momentum going and that’s really the bummer. Hopefully, we can recapture it this week if I’m able to go and get a little bit going.
