it’s not Goodbye but see You again, Raheim Sanders Announced final departure today….

Even after landing a transfer running back commitment on Wednesday from North Texas’ Oscar Adaway, South Carolina isn’t done adding talent to its running back room.
Former Arkansas star running back Raheim “Rocket” Sanders is expected to transfer to South Carolina, sources tell 247Sports.
Sanders, who has a pre-existing relationship with Gamecocks offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains, is coming off of a visit to South Carolina.
Although Sanders battled injuries this season and finished the season with just 209 rushing yards, the 6-foot-2, 240-pound junior was a first-team All-SEC selection in 2022 and finished that season with 1,443 rushing yards and 12 total touchdowns. He is ranked as the No. 3 running back in the 247Sports Transfer Rankings and the No. 34 overall player.
The Gamecocks, who went 5-7 in 2023, lost starter Mario Anderson to the transfer portal after a 700-yard, three-touchdown campaign in 2023 — one season after seeing longtime starter MarShawn Lloyd leave for Southern Cal. The addition of Sanders and Adaway restocks the room for Loggains, whose offense was second-to-last nationally in rushing yards per carry among FBS teams, just ahead of Colorado. Fans are hopeful the offensive line will be improved from 2023 and that the presence of exciting quarterback LaNoris Sellers bolsters South Carolina’s rushing attack.
