So sad: I might not return Blair Spittal declares urgent break due to his current status…….

It’s been quite the turnaround for Motherwell under Stuart Kettlewell in recent weeks and their quest for a top-six finish in the Scottish Premiership is very much alive.
One player who has impressed this season is Blair Spittal; the midfielder’s form was acknowledged with the Premiership’s player of the month award for February.
The 28-year-old has the fourth-most combined goals and assists (16) in the league this season, behind only James Tavernier, Lawrence Shankland and Matt O’Riley.
His seven goals have come from an xG value of 5.02, which indicates a high level of finishing, and he has also been superb in supplying his teammates.
His nine assists are the joint-highest in the league, alongside O’Riley and Kilmarnock’s Danny Armstrong, while his 66 chances created are the second most of any player.
The stats show Spittal’s all-round contribution in attack, and just how crucial he is to Kettlewell and Motherwell.
