The Las Vegas Raiders are adding yet another former NFL head coach to their coaching staff.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are hiring Joe Philbin to be their next senior offensive assistant.
Philbin, 62, was head coach of the Miami Dolphins for three-plus seasons (2012-13 to 2015-16), where he finished with an overall coaching record of 26-30. He served as the Green Bay Packers’ offensive coordinator for five seasons before joining the Dolphins, and he returned to the role with Green Bay in 2018 before becoming the team’s interim head coach for its final four games. In between that season and his time in Miami, Philbin served as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach of the Indianapolis Colts for two seasons
