Sad News: Final verdict Made as Motherwell Goalkeeper Terminate Contract extension Under Conditions…..

Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly Motherwell is at ease over his future with his contract due to expire at the end of the season.

Having made his Scotland debut during the recent international break the 27-year-old is keen to help his club halt a four-game losing run when they host Ross County on Saturday.

Kelly says thoughts of extending his stay have been “parked” for now in order to focus on club business.

“I don’t think about it at all, to be honest with you,” Kelly said when quizzed on his contract situation.

“Of course I am aware of it, I’m not daft, I know my contract’s up at the end of the year but it’s kind of a situation where you just try and play well, I’ve no control over that point.

“I’ll deal with it when it comes and just try and do as best as I can for Motherwell like I’ve done all the time I’ve been here.

“The relationship is still really strong [with the club and manager], we’re all pulling in the same direction and it’s something we’ve said we’ll address further down the line and just try and perform as well as we can and we’ll take that up further on in the season.

“I can’t stress how much I love it here…that’s obviously going to be a big factor when the decision comes to be made.

“We’re a long way away from that now, myself and the gaffer have agreed to park it, we’re both aware and comfortable with where it’s at.”
