Kirby Smart Already Has His Fingerprint Over All the….

Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart is the best coach in the nation right now.

The man has won two straight national championships and he might be on the verge of winning a third. You can’t deny the accomplishments, even if it’s in large part because he has better players than everyone else.

But my goodness, is he insufferable. And after his latest comments, he might be delusional, too.

Smart has somehow convinced folks in Athens — players and fans — that there are people doubting Georgia football.

Of course, this is nothing new. A year ago, after beating TCU in the national championship game, Georgia claimed that everyone doubted them from the start of the season and thought the Bulldogs would go 7-5 in 2022.

That was a gigantic lie from Smart, a man who doesn’t appear to live in realty. He can just spout off whatever nonsense he wants, even though it’s not rooted in facts or truth (but he wins football games, so folks in Georgia overlook that character flaw), and Bulldogs fans just eat it up.

On Friday, Smart was back at it again. He suggested, again, on The Pat McAfee Show that everyone is doubting Georgia (simply not true) before saying, somehow with a straight face, that the playoff rankings haven’t come across his desk.
