it’s not Goodbye but see You again, Shane Flanagan Announced final departure today….

The Dragons board will meet next week to discuss the future of coach Anthony Griffin and finalise the shortlist for his potential replacement.
Griffin is widely considered a dead man walking in the NRL coaching ranks, with the club set to make a decision on his future by Magic Round.
The 56-year-old could still survive but board will also discuss potentially hiring Jason Ryles, Ben Hornby, Dean Young or Shane Flanagan.
Veteran coach Des Hasler, who was unceremoniously axed by the Sea Eagles last October, has also been linked to the Dragons.
The St George Illawarra board will evaluate the list of candidates at their meeting next Tuesday before moving to formal interviews and making a decision on their next coach.
“Anthony Griffin will be on that list (of candidates) as well and be given every opportunity to try and fight for his career but as we all assume, we are seeing the last days of him,” Dave Riccio said on NRL 360.
I feel as though this is death by a thousand cuts for Anthony Griffin… we’re still several weeks away from getting an outcome on his future.”
The Dragons are at full strength but sit 11th on the ladder after losing to an undermanned Titans side on Sunday.
Griffin is in his third season at the helm and veteran halfback Ben Hunt is only representative player.
“The problems at St George Illawarra are far more widespread than the coach, they don’t have a recruitment guy there at the moment, they don’t have someone out there talking to players,” Paul Kent said.
