Done Deal: Chicago Bears Accepts $98milion for Caleb Williams trade to….

the swirling rumors and speculations leading up to April’s NFL draft, USC quarterback Caleb Williams finds himself at the center of attention, touted by many as the top quarterback prospect. With the Chicago Bears holding the coveted first pick, the possibility of Williams donning the iconic navy and orange jersey looms large. However, recent reports stirred the pot, suggesting that Williams was doubtful to playing football in the Windy City.

The narrative gained traction when Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd claimed on The Herd that Williams and his camp had no interest in Chicago. Cowherd’s bold statement sparked immediate pushback from Williams’s representatives, who were quick to set the record straight. Cowherd, in turn, walked back his comments, revealing that he received a call from Williams’s camp, emphasizing their desire not to be perceived as anti-Chicago or anti-Bear.

During his show, Cowherd explained, “They made it clear to me that they said, ‘Listen, we don’t want to go to a city that doesn’t care.’ Chicago cares…they’re big, loud, they’re passionate. They fire coaches all the time… and they did say there’s a path to succeed in Chicago.”
