Stuart Kettlewell says taking a point from seven Premiership games isn’t enough for a club the size of Motherwell, and they’re working “exceptionally hard” to turn the corner.
The Steelmen were left empty-handed again as Innes Cameron’s 49th-minute strike earned Kilmarnock all three points at Rugby Park, following the 4-2 defeat at home to Aberdeen on Wednesday night.
Kettlewell knows they need a win from somewhere, as they prepare for the trip to St Johnstone on Tuesday night.
The frustrated Motherwell boss said: “If you start to piece them together in my tenture, if you divide up some of the losses with all the wins that have been in there, and the points amassed, it potentially doesn’t look good.
“But you understand the job and the role, and everybody then points to the fact that we’ve got one point in seven games.
“It’s not good enough for a club like Motherwell. I understand that, I get that, and I harbour that blame, frustration and anger that will undoubtedly come off the back of it.
