Ex-WR Anthony Carter send 2 worlds heart breaking massage to Jim Harbaugh today about…..

When people think of Jim Harbaugh these days, it’s all the same — the khakis, a disdain for anything but whole milk, and a man who will tromp up the sideline, tossing clipboards and contesting calls regardless of the score.

When people think of that man, it’s hard to imagine anyone on this planet capable of reaming him out.

But Anthony Carter recalls a different picture, from when he played for the Minnesota Vikings and Harbaugh quarterbacked the Chicago Bears.

“I remember when we were at Minneapolis in the Metrodome, and he threw an out route and got picked off, and Carl Lee took it back,” Carter said. “And coach Ditka really ripped him on the sideline after that interception. I remember that quite well.”

On Saturday, Carter and former U-M linebacker Dhani Jones were the featured guests at the Nissan Heisman House — hosted at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School.

Fans of all ages crowded the tent for a chance to get Carter’s autograph — who was a star Wolverine receiver in 1979-82 under coach Bo Schembechler. He tallied 37 touchdowns, 161 receptions, and 3,076 yards in his collegiate career. ESPN anchor Neil Everett dubbed him “college football’s original No. 1”.
