The winter window is now officially open, with plenty of clubs expected to be active as they look to improve their squads for the second half of the season.

Clubs up and down the division are now looking at who they need to achieve their targets this year as the battle at the top and bottom of the table heats up.

Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe is attracting interest from West Ham, talkSPORT understands.

The Hammers are open to signing the 23-year-old on a six-month loan.

Smith Rowe who has struggled for game time since the start of last season.

The Gunners fan favourite and academy star has made 11 appearances in all competitions this term, but only two of those have been starts.

He has struggled with injury in that time, but he is now fully fit and yet still doesn’t appear to be part of Mikel Arteta’s plans, with many supporters regularly questioning why the No.10 isn’t getting any game time.
