Rabbi Matondo is free to leave Rangers this summer, according to a report.

The Welshmen struggled to impress after being signed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst last summer after the Light Blues secured the wingers services in a reported £1.8million deal from German giants Schalke. Michael Beale admitted the player was suffering a confidence crisis and despite being given opportunities towards the end of last season, Matondo is reportedly surplus to requirements.

A report states: “Wales international Rabbi Matondo is free to leave Glasgow Rangers this summer. Matondo spent a loan spell with Stoke in 2021 and could return to English football after being made available by the Scottish club.
