Done Deal: Rangers target David Jurasek given ok to leave Benfica….

There are other areas of concern that the Gers boss needs to address.

Another goal scorer and a winger capable of adding goals and assists seem like obvious positions that need to be improved both in the short and long-term – both would be welcomed with open arms at Ibrox.

The most speculation, since the window opened, has seen Rangers linked with a series of left-backs, added to Ridvan Yilmaz seemingly being close to an exit but, what is the latest on David Jurasek?

Posting on X, Michel has claimed that there are teams in Germany and France after his signature

The left-back is allowed to leave #Benfica again after half a year. 2 Bundesliga clubs have him on their list – alongside Marseille and Glasgow Rangers.

The #SGE was also interested in the Czech last summer before the Nkoukou deal.

“But now they are in a satisfactory position – and have already made provisions for the future with Nathaniel Brown

Interestingly, Marseille are the team that had agreed terms with Josh Doig but are growing frustrated with Hellas Verona moving the goal posts on his price tag.

If the window closes and Rangers still have Ridvan and Borna Barisic – who has also been rumoured as a potential departee – then it won’t be a drama.

Both have the qualities required to contribute to a successful team despite entirely different styles of play.

It looks like Rangers are keeping their eye on a few players, however, unless one of our two internationals leave, David Jurasek won’t be coming to Glasgow.
