J.J. McCarthy and Blake Corum Officially Declare for NFL Draft announcement Leaving Michigan today…..

Less than a week after winning the National Championship, Michigan’s star quarterback and star running back are moving on to the next step.

On Sunday, junior quarterback J.J. McCarthy and senior running back Blake Corum announced their intentions to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, not long after it was reported that Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh will interview for the Los Angeles Chargers’ head coaching vacancy.

The duo was a significant part of Michigan’s undefeated season and championship run, and will leave a big hole in Michigan’s offense for next level.

Corum, took to social media first to announce that he was declaring for the draft, thanking fans in a video on X (formerly known as Twitter). Corum, who was hurt near the end of the 2022 season, opted to return to Michigan for another season despite NFL interest in order to go for the championship.

“When I got hurt last year, I came back and promised y’all that I would bring a national championship home, and that’s what team 144 did,” Corum said in the video. “This time last year, we had unfinished business. Now I can say, business is finished, and I’m finished as well.
