EDGE Alex Highsmith announcement that he is leaving the Steelers now another significant issue for the Team……

The Steelers have officially ruled out EDGE rusher Alex Highsmith with a neck injury for the remainder of Week 14.

Pittsburgh Steelers EDGE rusher Alex Highsmith exited Week 14’s game against the New England Patriots after going down with a neck injury. He is questionable to return.

Highsmith has six sacks on the season, and has been a monster when it comes to generating pressure this season. He signed a four-year, $68 million extension in the offseason. The Steelers drafted Highsmith in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, before eventually replacing edge rusher Bud Dupree to be the other starting pass rusher opposite of T.J. Watt.
