Abdallah Sima announcement that he is leaving the Ranger now another significant issue for the Team……

Earlier we covered the indifferent start Nigeria’s Cyriel Dessers has made at Rangers. He is off the mark, so technically his goal rate is one in two, which is hard to criticise, but fans haven’t been convinced by him in general.
But we also explained we’d be covering another of preseason’s underwhelming performers in the form of Senegal’s Abdallah Sima, and the ‘impact’ the ex-Slavia winger has had
Well, let’s get straight to it shall we, and call out the fact that yet again Rangers cannot sign a single half-decent ‘winger’ to save our lives.
This guy’s CV was obvious – Ibrox Noise was heavily critical of his career, with fans often retorting with the tired ‘faith in the manager’ line and bigging the boy up as better than he factually is.
Our one relief of this deal is it’s a loan agreement, because Sima has been a literal disaster, somehow managing to be worse than the man he’s replacing in Rabbi Matondo, yet playing a bit more.
And yet it was obvious. He was absolutely rubbish against us, he’s been at absolutely best ‘below average’ in France with Angers, and his spell in Brighton so poor that every manager hasn’t been at all interested in him, and his performances in Czechia were not great either!
