24-year-old changes position, two changes: Liverpool’s predicted XI vs Burnley

Liverpool are still very much within striking distance of the top of the table, and with a more than winnable game against Burnley on Boxing Day, they will be hoping to leapfrog both Arsenal and Aston Villa.
However, as with any game in the Premier League, this won’t be straightforward.
Burnley are threatening to hit a bit of form after a 2-0 win at Craven Cottage against Fulham on Saturday, and as Luton showed earlier this season, Liverpool can sometimes take their foot off the gas in these games that should be simple
Jurgen Klopp’s side can’t afford to have a Christmas hangover if they are to win here, and with that in mind, we’ve had a go at predicting the Reds’ starting XI for this one.
Trent Alexander-Arnold starts at right-back, but he will likely play in his hybrid midfield role here once again as the Reds are likely to dominate possession against the Clarets.
Kostas Tsimikas picked up an injury against Arsenal, so Joe Gomez comes in at left-back, and while it isn’t his natural position, he did look very bright in that role on Saturday.
