Joe flacco was punished today for violating an NFL regulations….

The Cleveland Browns dropped their second straight game on Sunday when they lost 36-19 to the Los Angeles Rams at Sofi Stadium. The Browns now sit at 7-5 on the season and are clinging to the sixth seed in the AFC. However, several teams are vying for position in the tournament, and the season’s final five weeks give the Browns a chance to get to 10 wins with multiple head-to-head tiebreaker scenarios.
The Houston Texans game in Week 16 will likely carry significant weight as they have come on strong, led by rookie sensation C.J. Stroud. Of the remaining games on the Browns schedule, that game in Houston is the most impactful when talking head-to-head tiebreakers.
The NFL’s tiebreaker rules change when more than two teams are locked up for the same seed. That head-to-head result no longer matters; conference record becomes the tiebreaker. So, despite holding the head-to-head with the Colts, they could still find themselves on the outside looking in.
The Browns come home to host The Jaguars in a game with a great deal at stake this Sunday. The Browns must stop their two-game slide and get back in the win column, but also, every AFC game will carry more weight from here on out.
As The Browns recover from two weeks on the other side of the country and a road trip in which they went 0-2, the focus turns towards finding a way to win enough games to get into the 2023 NFL Playoffs.
