James Hudson III and Nick Harris, the backup offensive linemen for the Browns who were listed as questionable, are active and will play tonight at SoFi Stadium against the Rams.
For a private reason, Hudson was included to the status report on Saturday. Due to a knee ailment, Harris was limited throughout practice on Thursday and Friday.
Hudson will be the top backup tackle behind starters Geron Christian and Dawand Jones and serve as an extra lineman in certain personnel packages. Harris is the backup center behind Ethan Pocic and has been used as a fullback.
The Browns ruled out quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson (concussion), cornerback Denzel Ward (shoulder) and receiver Marquise Goodwin (concussion) on Friday.
The other inactive players are rookie center Luke Wypler, rookie defensive end Isaiah McGuire, rookie defensive tackle Siaki Ika, and rookie tackle Leroy Watson IV. All of them are healthy scratches.
In his Browns debut, 38-year-old Joe Flacco will start in Thompson-Robinson’s absence. The backup will be P.J. Walker.
With Ward sidelined, Mike Ford Jr. is anticipated to start at nickelback, with Martin Emerson Jr. and Greg Newsome II starting at corner.
