With Shaq Leonard and Zach Ertz, two former Pro Bowl players, being linked to the Philadelphia Eagles, trade speculations are intensifying. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Ertz might be a better fit for the Eagles than Leonard. The Dallas Cowboys have been strongly associated with Leonard as well.
In a piece titled “NFL Week 13 predictions, fantasy sleepers, key stats, buzz,” published on December 2, 2023, Fowler said, “We’re seeing a mini NFC East head-to-head with a few free agents this week.” Shaquille Leonard, a linebacker, is up for grabs and will probably choose between the Eagles and Cowboys this weekend.
Dallas is the greatest option, according to a few scouts I spoke with, since he can fill the Leighton Vander Esch role. Additionally, the Eagles figure to be in on a Zach Ertz reunion. Baltimore could be one to watch there, too, after losing Mark Andrews to injury
