News Update: Phoenix Suns star man announced NBA retirement After final verdict…

On Friday night, Terrence Ross, a seasoned winger who participated in 11 NBA seasons between 2012 and 2023, formally declared his retirement through his podcast.
After the Raptors selected him eighth overall in the 2012 draft, Ross played with them for more than four seasons. In the 2017 trade that sent Serge Ibaka to Toronto, he was dealt to Orlando. He played for the Magic for portions of seven seasons before being bought out and released in February. In the end, he signed with the Suns to play out the 2022–2023 season.
Ross, the 2013 dunk contest winner and Washington University basketball player, retired due to injuries and a desire to spend more time with his family.
In total, Ross played in 733 regular season games, 187 of which were starts. In 24.5 minutes per night, he averaged 11.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists while shooting 36.2% from three-point range.
As Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel relates, head coach Jamahl Mosley was questioned about Ross’ retirement following the Magic’s tenth straight victory on Friday night. Ross watched the game from courtside.
