Breaking News: Vikings Cut Former 1st-Round WR After Activating QB…..

On Tuesday, November 28, the Minnesota Vikings made their last move toward the return of superstar wide receiver Justin Jefferson by dismissing former first-round choice N’Keal Harry, bringing the player back to the active roster.
Jefferson was able to reclaim his spot on the 53-man roster following a seven-week absence due to injury. Harry was waived. Sean Mannion, the team’s quarterback, was also cut from the practice squad. Josh Dobbs, Nick Mullens, and Jaren Hall are all healthy heading into Minnesota’s Week 13 bye.
Harry, who the New England Patriots selected with the 32nd overall pick in the 2019 draft, stood up in the Vikings’ preseason and emerged as a darkhorse chance to make the team even with a stacked wide receivers room.
An injury to his lower body caused him to be released at the end of the preseason. Re-signed on September 5, Harry offered Minnesota some relief, mostly in the form of a 6-foot-4 run-blocker. Harry made nine appearances and had 23 offensive snaps, but he did not find a single target.
The Vikings (6-6) are looking to improve upon their 58% probability of making the playoffs (per ESPN) after losing their last three games for the first time since Week 3. Jefferson’s anticipated Week 14 comeback comes at a perfect moment.
